The Fresh Refrigeration FMU-28 Single Door Megatop Sandwich Prep Table is a compact and versatile refrigeration solution designed for busy commercial kitchens, cafés, sandwich bars, delis and food preparation areas. With a 186-litre capacity and a 700mm-wide footprint, it combines refrigerated ingredient storage with a practical preparation area to help streamline kitchen workflow.
The unit features a durable stainless steel finish across the top, front, sides and door, with a galvanised steel back and bottom for added durability. Enhanced airflow maintains an operating temperature between 0°C and 5°C, while the high-density polyurethane insulation helps retain consistent internal temperatures.
The Megatop preparation section accommodates 150mm-deep pans, with insulated stainless steel covers that open to approximately 70 degrees to provide convenient access while helping protect chilled ingredients when closed. A reversible cutting board provides a useful preparation surface, while the locking dispenser bar helps secure pans and minimise spills during busy service.
For easy operation and maintenance, the FMU-28 features digital temperature control and monitoring, automatic evaporation and defrost, a hot gas condensate system, auto-closing doors and a removable magnetic door gasket. Heavy-duty castors with brakes provide mobility while allowing the unit to be securely positioned in the kitchen.
